Description Marco Zanon 2002-11-15 20:57:04 UTC
Description of Problem:
I'd like to see the same theme, fonts and colors exported to the KDE/Qt world, so that Gtk and Qt applications could have the same look-and-feel.

Thanks :)

RedHat did this in their latest version. They use the Blue Curve (I
hope that was right) theme. It works across GTK+ 1.2, GTK+ 2.0,
Sawfish/Metacity (whatever they use), and KWM. Oh yeah... and Mozilla.

BTW, that's not what this bug is about; this bug is about further
interoperability in making GNOME themes apply to KDE and visa versa.
It needs a common theme for both, but in many cases that shouldn't be
too hard because KDE now support GNOME pixmap engine themes. The
problem is the interoperability.
Comment 3 Dave Bordoley [Not Reading Bug Mail] 2003-01-25 15:52:10 UTC
uhh, the correct way to do this is by exporting xsettings through the
session manager no??
Comment 4 Sebastien Bacher 2005-01-21 21:34:33 UTC
is that really a control-center issue ? gtk/qt are different toolkit, do you
have any idea on how to fix that ?
Comment 5 Thomas Wood 2006-04-30 14:05:57 UTC
Not really a control center bug, nor even a GTK+ bug. Closing since it has been marked NEEDINFO for over a year.
