GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 98581
Mounting a CDROM on SunRay server creates CD icon on all Client desktops
Last modified: 2005-08-15 01:51:57 UTC
When a CD is inserted on a SunRay Server, the icon is shown in all clients irrespective of the user logged in the Server and Client. I am attaching a patch for this problem.

With this patch the icon will be shown for the client if the user logged in the client is the same as that of the server. The icon will be removed from the client when the user logs out from the server. Thanks.
Which version of Nautilus is this patch created for?
I have created the patch from the sources taken from head on Oct 15th and the patches in sun-patches/nautilus applied. Since most of the implemetation of removable media for Solaris is in sun-patches. This patch should be applied on top of other sun-patches, which are still pending in bugzilla. Thanks.
Created attachment 12402 [details] [review] I have modified some part of the patch and adding the modified patch.
Alex,Dave: Could you please find sometime to review this patch. Thanks
Adding the portability keyword.
Dave,Alex: Please review this patch whenever you find have time. Thanks.
All the rmm code is rewritten in HEAD. There seems little point in keeping this bug around. Closing.
