Since an update yesterday, I've had this problem: I create a new
transaction and I enter it. Normally, I'm supposed to get an empty entry
available to enter a new transaction but I don't. The only way to add a new
transaction is to close the account window and reopen it.

Try again.  I think this has been fixed in CVS.  Do you still have
this problem?
