[FreeBSD][PATCH] gst-autogen.sh dosn't find gnu getopt
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
the common/gst-autogen.sh script dosn't find gnu getopt on FreeBSD as it isn't there. The attached patch fixes this by removing the need for getopt in autogen_options ()

I tried applying the patch to my CVS version to get it commited, but attached part of the patch refuse to apply.

This patch will apply cleanly on a clean checkout of common/gst-autogen.sh
does this remove gnu getopt altogether ? from the looks of it it seems like it. Does -- still work as a separator between options to configure and autogen ? This all needs to be satisfied before we can apply the patch.

It removes gnu getopt completely. The -- seperator still works. Andrew
I will try and apply this patch later today and get it commited if ok.
Patch applied to CVS. Thanks Andrew (added you to contributors list for next release :)
