Description Christian Fredrik Kalager Schaller 2002-10-24 14:35:38 UTC
The asf demuxer is commited to CVS, but needs some debugging before it
works right.
Comment 1 Christian Fredrik Kalager Schaller 2003-01-07 08:06:18 UTC
This bug is probably indirectly fixed through the new ffmmpeg based
plugin.
Comment 2 Ronald Bultje 2003-01-07 08:21:32 UTC
Not really, because the ASF plugin was never finished, afaik. It needs
debugging, and the author ought to do that, imho.
Comment 3 Christian Fredrik Kalager Schaller 2003-01-07 23:14:49 UTC
Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought the ffmpeg plugin could handle the
full set of tasks needed for us to do ffmpeg playback, not just the
decoding part. That was why I thought this bug might be indirectly
fixed since that would have meant we got asf support anyway (and
strictly wouldn't need this plugin).
Comment 4 Christian Fredrik Kalager Schaller 2003-01-23 14:03:54 UTC
Ok, Owen has now checked updated (and mostly working code) into CVS.
Need to figure out when to get this integrated before 0.6.1.
Comment 5 Erik Walthinsen 2003-01-30 23:02:28 UTC
Moved target to 0.7.x
Comment 6 Christian Fredrik Kalager Schaller 2003-02-01 13:48:41 UTC
gst-register complains about asfdemux: could not load support library:
'gstbytestream'
Comment 7 Christian Fredrik Kalager Schaller 2003-02-22 15:41:17 UTC
Owen what is the status of your hacking to get sound working?
Comment 8 Christian Fredrik Kalager Schaller 2003-07-07 22:14:16 UTC
With latest commits from Ronald this plugin now works. Closing.
