GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 96281
enhancement: gpilotd checking dev permissions
Last modified: 2006-03-14 15:50:46 UTC
It would be great if a pop-up or error box letting the user know that /dev/ttyS0 exists, but the permisssions prevent configuring the device. (Or maybe remind users to symlink /dev/pilot to /dev/ttyS0) Currently the sync conduit sits there if there are bad user permissions. version: gnome-pilot-0.1.65 redhat rpm: gnome-pilot-0.1.65-8
