GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 94265
Help should have 'F1' as the shortcut key
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
I'm running Sun's beta2 build 9 (17th Sep snapshot from the CVS) In control center, Help(Contents) should have 'F1' as the shortcut key. 1. Invoke gnome-control-center from the command line -> gnome-control-center --use-shell 2. Invoke the 'Help' menu, there should be a shortcut key (F1) for the 'Contents' menu item. No shortcut key has been specified.

Created attachment 14545 [details] [review] patch against gnome-control-center HEAD
Adding PATCH keyword and setting priority high.
Adding 2.3 keyword.
The patch looks nice :) Anybody willing to commit it? regs, Chris
I think we should close this as WONTFIX and remove --use-shell from the control-center. It looks butt ugly in 2.4.x and I don't think it has improved much since then. Anyone?
Adding this to CVS. I got the impression that we're going to revive the shell in the future, so we may as well just get this fixed too.
