Description Alan Horkan 2002-08-26 19:30:29 UTC
please add a new component gnome-office for tracking issues such as
consitancey and integration across the various gnome office applications

the gnome-desktop component could be used instead for some integration
issues but i think a gnome-office component would be good.

i want somewhere to track features and suggestions made on the gnome-office
mailing list
i want a way to encourage code reuse and reuse of problem solutions

the issue that brought this to mind was the suggestion of Email integration
http://bugzilla.abisource.com/show_bug.cgi?id=3903
a feature that hopefully could be implemented consistantly across Gnome
office (or possibly even more generalised have it at the desktop level).

I mentioned this Jody Goldberg on IRC and he thought it might be useful to
have. If you are in doubt i will mail the gnome-office list and ask.

your probably better off just talking to louie on IRC in #bugs.
Comment 2 Luis Villa 2002-12-03 19:52:04 UTC
I'd like to get some more feedback from the rest of bugmaster on this
one, but I'm reluctant to do something like this that will be very
lightly used and very frequently draw confused bug reporters. [It
would be a haven for /tons/ of evo and abi reports, I'm sure.]

maybe it is not such a good idea
