I get the following error when compiling gstreamer 0.4.0 (using garnome):

In file included from dparammanager.c:22:
dparammanager.h:118: parse error before "GstDParamUpdateInfo"
dparammanager.h:118: warning: no semicolon at end of struct or union

I get the same error using gcc versions 2.95, 3.1, and 3.2 (all Debian
packages).

Can you check if you have an old version of gstreamer installed ?
Also, can you run gst-feedback and attach the output of that to this
bug report ?
