.schemas files need to be added to POTFILES.in

Please add the following files to po/POTFILES.in if you wish them to be picked up for translation : gnome-control-center/schemas/apps_gnome_settings_daemon_default_editor.schemas gnome-control-center/schemas/apps_gnome_settings_daemon_screensaver.schemas You also need to rename them to .schemas.in for translation tools to pick them up.
Fixing this will probably break string freeze.
It can probably be fixed in HEAD right away though. HEAD is not affected by the freeze.
Tentatively marking 2.2.
You'd need to change them to .schemas.in and hook up the intltool magic in the Makefiles to make it work properly though. 2.1.x material definitely.
SPAM as discussed last night. Search for 'SPAM as discussed last night' to catch these all and delete them. :)
I'm bumping up the priority on this because, although it's a minor fix, it should really make the string freeze.

The files seems to have been renamed in cvs, but they haven't been added to POTFILES.in. This is what I get with "intltool-update -M": --- The following files contain translations and are currently not in use. Please consider adding these to the POTFILES.in file, located in the po/ directory. schemas/apps_gnome_settings_daemon_default_editor.schemas.in schemas/apps_gnome_settings_daemon_screensaver.schemas.in schemas/desktop_gnome_font_rendering.schemas.in If some of these files are left out on purpose then please add them to POTFILES.skip instead of POTFILES.in. A file 'missing' containing this list of left out files has been written in the current directory. ---
