Description schrode 2002-07-23 15:01:47 UTC
If I click on a thread in the "Thread pane" and use CursorUp or CursorDown I
would expect the focus to be in the "Thread pane" and select the previous/next
thread. Instead the article will get moved a bit.

Moreover, it would be cool if Pos1 and End in the "Thread pane" would move to
the first/last thread. Right now, I will have to use Ctrl+Pos1 and Ctrl+End to
achieve this.

If I use CursorUp or CursorDown in the Thread pane and press Space, I would
expect the marked article to be displayed. Instead the next article will get
displayed.

I use Opera as my browser, and like the Shift+Space feature that acts as an
inverse space, i.e., Space scrolls down one page and Shift+Space scrolls up
one page.

PS: I am using Pan 0.11.4

This is fixed in 0.12.1.

This would be kind of nice to have.

This is fixed in 0.12.1.

I like this idea.

So two of these are already done; marking the other two for bluesky
(probably post-0.13)

PS. I appreciate all the feedback, but you would probably
have a better feel for what Pan's current features are if
you were to upgrade from 0.11.4 to 0.12.91.

Well, I had a *really* hard time getting 0.11.4. installed. I am using
glibc-2.2-17 and qt-2.2.3-7 so I don't think I can run the latest Pan version.

The main reasons why I _really_ wanted to try Pan are: it's quite popular in
opera.linux, it fully supports GNKSA, Sylpheed kinda sucks, I am in the
process of test driving a couple of newsreader (Mozilla, tin, Sylpheed, Pan)
so far.

I am not gonna update my OS anytime soon but maybe I'll buy a new
computer at the end of the year (or maybe I'll wait until bluesky ;-)).

The 'inverted space' is implemented in 0.13.1, so only home/end need
to be done to close this off.

Marking for 0.14.0 milestone.
