Description Brian Morrison 2002-07-15 20:26:00 UTC
It seems that for some reason the pan.saved folder is missing when using
0.12.1, in fact it is also missing with 0.12.90.

I can't find the contents either, making me suspect that 0.12.1 and later
actually delete the file(s) that hold the saved articles.

These fixes relate to bug #88254. Re-opening this report.
Comment 3 Christophe Lambin 2002-07-20 23:32:06 UTC
Brian: AFAIK, Pan doesn't come with a pan.saved folder. Is this one
you created yourself ?

Also, upgrading Pan 0.12.1 shouldn't touch the folders, so I suspect
this is a problem related to going back and forth between 0.12.1 and
0.12.90.

Comment 4 Charles Kerr 2002-07-31 15:50:13 UTC
0.12 branch is probably complete, so bumping these
for investigation in 0.13.1
Comment 5 Brian Morrison 2002-07-31 21:43:02 UTC
OK, just built 0.12.92 from source on my RH 7.3 system, if I try to
access the pan.saved folder I get this:

[bdm@ickx pan]$ pan

** ERROR **: I don't know what to do with header "Reply-To"
aborting...
Trace/breakpoint trap

So it seems that this is something to do with my email reply-to:
header since I use an antispam address for Usenet.

BTW, pan.saved has always been there since I started using Pan
seriously in the 0.10.xx versions. I did not create it myself, if I
try to do that in the versions where it is not shown (0.12.92 does
show it) I get a message asking me not to start folder names with "pan."
Comment 6 Christophe Lambin 2002-10-11 00:00:34 UTC
Bumped remaining bugs to 0.13.2.
Comment 7 Christophe Lambin 2002-11-13 20:55:29 UTC
Bumped remaining bugs to 0.13.3.
Comment 8 Charles Kerr 2002-12-08 06:25:39 UTC
Is this something that anyone still cares about?
Comment 9 Brian Morrison 2002-12-10 10:41:44 UTC
No, I created my own saved folder and now use that instead.

Fine by me Charles
