Firebird (a database based on Interbase) is now functional (even packaged
on Debian), so we should make the interbase provider work with both
interbase and FireBird.

It seems both APIs are the same. But, if they are not, we should deal with
the differences and have them all covered in the same provider.

This is now available in CVS
