Description m.s.craig 2002-05-15 15:50:14 UTC
The size allocation for labels, entries etc doesn't seem to account for
italic fonts, so sometimes the right hand extremity of the last character
is truncated. This looks a little unprofessional.Seems to occur in all
versions of GTK+, including 2.0

Basically, this requires the idea of "italic correction" being
added into Pango; and I'm not sure it's even supported
by TrueType fonts, so it's definitely a hard fix.

We're moving to gitlab! As part of this move, we are closing bugs that haven't seen activity in more than 5 years. If this issue is still imporant to you and
still relevant with GTK+ 3.22 or master, please consider creating a gitlab issue
for it.
