Package: gnumeric Version: 1.0.6 Severity: >Synopsis: insert column crash after copy column >Class: sw-bug System: linux 2.4.18-686 (debian) >Description: select column right from a _hidden_ column, than try to insert a new column (right mouse-button-popup-menu->insert-column) >How-To-Repeat: restart and try the same. Seems like the hidden column is crucial for this crash. ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@bugzilla.gnome.org 2002-05-04 08:00 ------- The original reporter (niels@nielsje.net) of this bug does not have an account here. I can not replicate this. Can you give me more detailed steps starting from a clean gnumeric or a specific file ?
open gnummeric, hide column A using right-mouse-button-popup-hide-menu item, select column B and try to insert a column using the right-mouse-button-popup-menu-insert item. Weird that you cannot reproduce it. I still have a 100% succes rate :( I'm using the fluxbox window manager, if that matters...
Ok I can replicate it. The key was to use Col A. Testing a patch now in 1.1, I'll back port to 1.0 for 1.0.7 which is due in 2 weeks.
Fixed in 1.1 and 1.0 Thanks
