Last modified: 2009-08-15 18:40:50 UTC
Package: Pan Severity: minor Version: 0.11.91 Synopsis: task manager broke multichar, may need conversion to utf-8 Bugzilla-Product: Pan Bugzilla-Component: general Description: I think you know what I'm saying. :) task manager need to utf-8 conversion, like article list does. ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@bugzilla.gnome.org 2002-04-26 16:53 ------- Reassigning to the default owner of the component, charles@rebelbase.com.
does, or did? I thought the article list was working properly now... The task manager should be working properly now. Fixed in CVS: http://cvs.gnome.org/bonsai/cvsview2.cgi?diff_mode=context&whitespace_mode=show&subdir=pan/pan&command=DIFF_FRAMESET&file=task-manager.c&rev1=1.71&rev2=1.72&root=/cvs/gnome
hm.. I think you have wrong point. other field are already in utf8. ('cos those are internally made.) the only pch needs to be done. I have made a 3 lines of patch. after testing I'll attach the patch. (now I'm retreiving big binary via pan. ;)
Kang: ping
charles: pong. sorry to be forgot. :) first, I'm sorry to report this issue is not fixed. (cos I reopen) for your patch (and for poor me, too ;), pan does not display task's subject in utf8. I think you'd better do first what you told: utf8ize on the head of nntp transfer.
Kang: ping, which pch needs utf8izing? (utf8izing the acache is not as easy as I thought it would be, and probably shouldn't be done at all. It is too difficult to correctly recognize and not convert attachments in non-mime messages.)
