Description Ankriti Sachan 2018-03-18 05:59:27 UTC
With the current update via this bug - https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=752680, we are able to hide repeated time stamps in row entries and show it only with first entry of each new time label. But, there is a situation when visible time-label scrolls out of view if we have lot of log entries for same time-label, which we do not want. There should be at-least one time label in the view.

So, a possible solution could be to keep time label intact with compressed-row-entry headers. Since we have often have lot of compressed entries, this solution will always have time label in the view as well as reduce repetitions.

More possible solutions are welcome.
