1)start nautilus.
2)select view->view as .
3)select any view from from the list and click on the modify button.
4)select option  "Include in the menu just for "guest"" (here guest is the 
current directory).
5)Press Ok.
6) Nautilus Hangs .

This looks like it's a symptom of some memory-management problems in
nautilus-mime-actions.c.  Attaching a patch that cleans it up a bit.

Verified with the latest sources from CVS head. Could not simulate the
problem. Hence I think the bug can be closed.
