Description Jakub Steiner 2002-04-18 15:56:04 UTC
When you open up a nautilus window, you can't start navigating using a
keyboard - ie start typing filename to jump to a particular one. The weird
thing is that by prassing arrow icon three times it gets focus and starts
to work. Or you have to click on the icon area and then it starts accepting
keyboard input too.

Similarily, when you have the location bar off, press Ctrl+L to get it up,
I'd expect the URL bar to have focus, so I can start typing a new URL.

This is fixed for the location bar AFAIK
and i think that the issue with the icon view is that
the sidebar is in focus instead of the icon view.

It works for me without the sidebar, but should probably
be fixed so that the current view always has focus.

I'm pretty sure this is fixed now- Jakub, if it's not like you expect
in 2.5/2.6, please reopen.
