Description dan.hensley 2002-04-12 20:10:11 UTC
I have Pan set up so that when I left-click on a group in the Groups list,
it downloads new articles. However, this only works the first time I do
this. After that I have to pick Get New Articles from the right-mouse
menu. I think that the left-click should work every time.

Do you mean that it's not downloading new headers for the second group
you visit, or that when you go back to the first group Pan doesn't
download headers of articles posted in the interim?

Please try running Pan from a shell with "pan --debug-sockets" so that
Pan will print out the server conversation to you. (Pick small groups
for this. ;) That way we'll be able to see what Pan says to the
server after the first group. If you could attach the output of that
run here, that would be great.
Comment 2 dan.hensley 2002-04-14 02:05:42 UTC
Actually, I only have 1 group in my list. I have just my Subscribed
groups shown. When I first launch Pan, I just have to click once on
the group to download headers. I just went back to test, and it looks
like if I double-click on the group name, it will download messages
again. What threw me (and caused the bug report) was that the first
time it only took a single click, so I was expecting the same for
subsequent times.
