Description Erich Schubert 2002-04-11 20:09:20 UTC
http://bugs.debian.org/122768

Using galeon as html-viewer in the mailcap doesn't work properly when
galeon is already running. It then exits immediately, so the tmp file gets
removed before galeon had loaded it.
It would be nice if galeon could wait for the given page to load before
exiting.

This sounds extremely difficult to fix.
An alternative might be to have a new command line option --copy-and-open, which
creates a temporary copy of the file (and dependant files?) and starts to open
the new window/load the page then returns.

Galeon has not seen any code changes since May 2010:

This project is not under active development anymore and got recently archived in GNOME Git.

It is currently unlikely that there will be any further active development.

reality. Please feel free to reopen this bug report in the future if anyone
takes the responsibility for active development again.
