Description Axel Beckert 2002-04-09 22:40:27 UTC
I have always a Galeon window with my netsaint host open. That page
refreshes every 90sec. When I input something bigger (like a bug report)
into a input field or textarea in some window, I always loose the input
focus when the netsaint page has finished refreshing (I guess it's
redisplaying internally).

This is especially very annoying, if were trying to mark something big to
copy&paste it and while marking, you loose the focus and can because the
window gets it back in no time, the mouse starts marking something new and
you can start marking the whole thing again.

(If you have something marked, before the refresh is finished, the inverted
display of the marked area disappears and comes back if you switch to
another tab and back, e.g. with the mouse). But it's lost, if you click
anywhere inside the web page.)

The funny thing is, that the acutally shown web page seems to get it's
focus back in no time. But not the input window.

Confirming, it's one of the 10000 mozilla focus bugs ...
