Description wpeterson1 2002-03-29 05:10:15 UTC
When I add a second server, Pan defaults to 1 open connection and to reserve 1 connection to read messages. At that point it won't get
headers for any groups until I go in and increase the number of open connections.

There's no problem with the initial server as the default there is 4 open connections.
Comment 1 Christophe Lambin 2002-03-30 13:03:28 UTC
Confirmed.

Charles: any reason why server.c::server_constructor() shouldn't set
max_connections to four by default ?

Comment 2 Charles Kerr 2002-03-30 17:08:49 UTC
Yes, four can cause awful performance for modem users.
Three would be a better default value.
Comment 3 Christophe Lambin 2002-04-03 20:04:25 UTC
Fixed in CVS.
