Description Allan Day 2016-02-09 15:30:50 UTC
If I don't have any videos, selection mode isn't useful. Search isn't useful either, in its default "local" mode. This is a particular issue when a user is trying the app for the first time, since they might want to explore the available functionality, and it's a bit of a downer to have features that aren't useful.

It would be better to disable these functions when there isn't any content, and to make their buttons insensitive.
