GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 75904
Drawer doesn't launch launchers on second attempt
Last modified: 2015-03-24 13:00:31 UTC
Steps for reproducing: 1. Add a new panel(floating). 2. Add a drawer to it. 3. Add few components like 'clock', dictionary and a terminal. 4. Through the drawer in the panel, invoke the terminal. 5. In the terminal, type 'exit' and close the terminal. 6. Through the drawer in the panel try to select the terminal. Now the terminal cannot be selected.
Okay, I supsect this is the bug where a launcher is moved you can't click on it any more ... if this happens with the latest CVS, then re-open
And *please* do not go around marking bugs like this as critical, immediate ... You may assign a severity as you see fit (I think this would be 'normal') but leave the priority assignment to the maintainer/luis
This is simulatable in version 1.5.15 It seems to be happening with launchers only. 1)Add a launcher to the drawer. 2)click on it,the application is invoked and the drawer panel is hidden 3)click on the drawer panel and try clicking the same launcher, you can't.
This is borderline high/urgent; I'm leaning towards high but it's definitely something for you to look at, Mark. And I can duplicate it here (albeit with week old code; still updating after having returned from Sevilla.) Also, retitled to make it more clear.
Yeah, I can reproduce this. I've a feeling it has to do with the bug I fixed in ButtonWidget recently ...
Dropping priority a bit; this should still be fixed (it's silly and makes drawers basically unusable) but it doesn't really meet the other criteria for Urgent.
Fixed
Tested on 10th July source from CVS Head on solaris 5.8. It works fine. Closing it..
