GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 749000
Prompt for online account setup on first run
Last modified: 2017-11-24 21:34:38 UTC
It would be good to encourage users to use an online account for Calendar. This is generally what users will want, and offers obvious advantages over keeping calendars locally. My suggestion would be to show a setup screen on first run, if there is no online account with calendar data: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gnome-design-team/gnome-mockups/master/calendar/calendar-setup-wires.png
Somewhere around here we should point to the user to Google page [1] to enable the synchronization/use on Calendar of all of its calendars. [1]: https://www.google.com/calendar/syncselect
