Totem currently shows a placeholder when there are no videos present in the videos view. However, this is a bit flat and uninteresting for the first time you run the app.

One of the things we would like to do is have interesting and engaging welcome
screens for all the content applications. Designs can be found here:

This includes images from jimmac that are licensed under CC BY, so
