GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 73789
Folder window shows all-consuming sidebar and no files.
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
I clicked on my Home icon on my desktop to view the files in it, and the window that appeared boasted a sidebar which was maximized to consume the whole window. It is a trivial matter to shrink the sidebar to the left so that the files can be viewed, but this was strange and unexpected.
Created attachment 7012 [details] A screenshot of the massive sidebar.
I've seen this often myself. Not sure why I didn't report it or track it down before now.
It's fairly hard to reproduce but it seems to happen only after restarting from a previous crash.
I've also seen this at seemingly random times. I'll try to pay attention to what circumstances trigger it.
Michael says he just fixed this on.
