Description Jeroen Benckhuijsen 2002-02-19 23:24:05 UTC
On a nautilus window, i open the location smb: to show the list of
available workgroups. The only one shown is my own workgroup @Home (because
of my cable connection). When opening this workgroup to see the computers
in it, not the workgroup @Home is opened, but the workgroup home (so
without the @). Typing it specificly in nautilus doens't work either.

BTW. i don't know if this could be in fact a nautilus bug??
Comment 1 Jeroen Benckhuijsen 2002-12-23 16:31:23 UTC
Does anybody have the time to look into this bug? Don't know how much
work this costs, maybe i could look into this myself? Maybe a pointer
where i can look.
Comment 2 Kjartan Maraas 2005-01-05 12:35:24 UTC
Can someone still reproduce this? I don't have any smb stuff that I can test on.
Comment 3 Kjartan Maraas 2005-05-16 12:46:42 UTC
There's a newer duplicate in here somewhere. Moving to the smb method.
Comment 4 Nelson Benitez 2005-07-14 22:50:25 UTC
This bug depends on a bug in gnome-vfs
(http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=89106) but (for me) even with
previous bug fixed nautilus still fails, so the product of this bug could be
moved to nautilus really as it seems nautilus is doing something wrong.
Comment 5 Daniel Holbach 2005-09-20 10:18:24 UTC
I supoose this bug is connected to
http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=15757 - although it might be another
reason this time, i suspect a wrong escaping of string in both cases:

"Gnome 2.10 can't mount a ftp Site when a @ is in the Username. Gnome send
user%40server instead of user@server to the ftp Server."
Comment 6 André Klapper 2008-09-06 18:58:41 UTC
gnome-vfs has been deprecated and superseded by gio/gvfs since GNOME 2.22, hence mass-closing many of the gnome-vfs requests/bug reports. This means that gnome-vfs is NOT actively maintained anymore, however patches are still welcome.

If your reported issue is still valid for gio/gvfs, please feel free to file a bug report against glib/gio or gvfs.

@Bugzilla mail recipients: query for gnome-vfs-mass-close to get rid of these notification emails all together.
