GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 711534
gedit open terminal here doesnt work well with spaces
Last modified: 2019-03-23 20:50:14 UTC
As mlouis say: It seems that the default command for the open-terminal-here tool: gnome-terminal --working-directory=$GEDIT_CURRENT_DOCUMENT_DIR & doesn't support spaces for the current document directory. The result is that when I run open-terminal-here when editing a file in a directory with spaces, my terminal will open in ~. A proper command would be: gnome-terminal --working-directory="$GEDIT_CURRENT_DOCUMENT_DIR" & further information: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=700033 thanks greets
