GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 699916
Selection pattern design updates
Last modified: 2015-03-27 03:29:38 UTC
There's been a round of changes to the selection pattern; these are intended to overcome a bunch of issues that we've encountered with the existing design. Details of the updated design can be found here: https://live.gnome.org/GnomeOS/Design/Whiteboards/SelectionPattern
Is there going to be support in GTK+ (widgets, CSS classes etc) so this is easy to do and - equally important - that apps do the same thing?
(In reply to comment #1) > Is there going to be support in GTK+ (widgets, CSS classes etc) so this is easy > to do and - equally important - that apps do the same thing? There is shared code. I think that some of it is in GTK+ and Adwaita, although I suspect that other pieces are in libgd. I'm not the best person to ask about this though. I'm pushing to make sure that all the applications that are using the selection mode pattern will be updated for GNOME 3.10. Looks like we don't use the selection pattern anymore
