Description Debarshi Ray 2013-04-10 00:10:55 UTC
It would be nice to have a simple way to add a Zimbra account. Zimbra offers email, calendar and addressbooks which can be leveraged by Evolution.

Debarshi: Could you update the status of this report, and if this is a 3.10 or 3.12 target?
Comment 2 Matthew Barnes 2013-08-03 12:45:33 UTC
The Zimbra integration will depend on the presence of DNS SRV records for the services provided by Zimbra. We're still trying to attain such a setup (preferably through Red Hat's own internal Zimbra deployment), but at this time it doesn't look like the feature will make 3.10.

Actually maybe not. See bug 697677 comment 3.

I'm not working on Evolution currently so I haven't pursued this.
Comment 4 André Klapper 2021-05-19 11:03:52 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/Community/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution-data-server/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
