Description Ville Ranki 2002-01-22 21:09:07 UTC
For some reason i got a message "Usened posting failed, Your message
was saved in the folder pan.sendlater".

This is quite bad for usability. There is no hints why posting might
have failed (i suppose NNTP gives more info about failure?).
Also it took a while to find where is folder pan.sendlater.

Suggested fix: Detailed info why posting failed, what can be done to
prevent it. Also there could be a hint to use post/send pending
messages and where to open pan.sendlater folder (it also could be
opened automatically).

One easy fix would be to add ``Check the Pan Log for more
information.'', because that's where posting errors are kept.

It would also be good to verify that Pan puts the nntp error
messages in the log.

Verified that nntp_post adds an error message to the log.

Pan now directs users to check the log when a posting fails:
