GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 690915
Replace AM_CONFIG_HEADER with AC_CONFIG_HEADERS in configure.ac
Last modified: 2012-12-31 16:35:43 UTC
AM_CONFIG_HEADER no longer works in Automake 1.13 (see [1]), so packages using it won't build with 1.13. AM_CONFIG_HEADER can be replaced with AC_CONFIG_HEADERS (the usage is the same). This applies to at least gst-plugins-base and gst-plugins-good; I'm not sure about other packages. [1] https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/automake/2012-12/msg00038.html
Thanks, but I've fixed these already in core, ugly, bad and gst-libav: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/gstreamer/gstreamer/commit/?id=d0c8831f1fa8b2fd738bf1352d46f63c4161dc62 http://cgit.freedesktop.org/gstreamer/gst-plugins-ugly/commit/?id=22fbafc4afa834b149d25f52ec58463d8aa39aa4 http://cgit.freedesktop.org/gstreamer/gst-plugins-bad/commit/?id=21d9fe45e4ebc074d1af5575523ba0398d5d67c9 http://cgit.freedesktop.org/gstreamer/gst-libav/commit/?id=22f4df552a5f69eede4e168625dd1788749428e1 I think base+good were ok already. Please re-open if not.
plugsin-base and plugins-good seem to still have this problem; look at line 27 in http://cgit.freedesktop.org/gstreamer-sdk/gst-plugins-base/tree/configure.ac and http://cgit.freedesktop.org/gstreamer-sdk/gst-plugins-good/tree/configure.ac
The "GStreamer SDK" is a different project that has nothing to do with upstream GStreamer. You will have to report that issue with them separately on bugs.freedesktop.org.
Ah, you're correct; my mistake.
