Description Havoc Pennington 2002-01-17 22:28:30 UTC
For lines a page or more shorter than other lines in the buffer,
they cause a bounce effect as we scroll to the far right then
move the cursor back onscreen.
Comment 1 Luis Villa 2002-01-22 21:29:56 UTC
Adding GNOME2 keyword to all keynav bugs per sander's request. You can filter on
the phrase 'luis doing GNOME2 work' to catch all instances of this so that you
can ignore them.
Comment 2 Havoc Pennington 2002-02-22 17:45:50 UTC
Can wait for 2.0.1
Comment 3 Havoc Pennington 2002-03-23 17:52:42 UTC
Also it doesn't seem like these keybindings move the cursor quite
where they should. I guess they should move it to the far right of the
new page when paging right, and far left of the new page when paging left.
Comment 4 Matthias Clasen 2002-04-05 13:33:46 UTC
Move open bugs from milestones 2.0.[012] -- > 2.0.3, since 2.0.2 is already out.
Comment 5 Owen Taylor 2002-06-14 15:30:56 UTC
Move GtkTextView 2.0.4 bugs to 2.0.5
Comment 6 Matthias Clasen 2002-11-21 19:00:10 UTC
Moving bugs from older 2.0.x milestones to 2.0.10.
Comment 7 Owen Taylor 2002-12-16 20:51:22 UTC
I suspect that these bindings should just move the adjustments
by pages and ignore the cursor.
Comment 8 Calum Benson 2002-12-24 12:32:13 UTC
Sounds reasonable, that would make the behaviour consistent with
PageUp/PageDn.
Comment 9 Calum Benson 2003-08-07 16:15:28 UTC
Apologies for spam... marking as GNOMEVER2.3 so it appears on the official GNOME
bug list :)
Comment 10 Elijah Newren 2004-06-19 18:45:14 UTC
Mass changing gtk+ bugs with target milestone of 2.4.2 to target 2.4.4, as
Matthias said he was trying to do himself on IRC and was asking for help with.
If you see this message, it means I was successful at fixing the borken-ness in
bugzilla :) Sorry for the spam; just query on this message and delete all
emails you get with this message, since there will probably be a lot.

Apologies for spam... ensuring Sun a11y folks are cc'ed on all current accessibility bugs.
Comment 13 Matthias Clasen 2018-02-10 03:34:38 UTC
We're moving to gitlab! As part of this move, we are closing bugs that haven't seen activity in more than 5 years. If this issue is still imporant to you and
still relevant with GTK+ 3.22 or master, please consider creating a gitlab issue
for it.
