Description rustyc 2002-01-16 06:52:38 UTC
Package: bug-buddy
Severity: major
Version: 1.6.4
Synopsis: gnucash crashed during reconcile after multiple suspend/resume cycles
Bugzilla-Product: bug-buddy
Bugzilla-Component: general

Description:

Not sure its reproducible, but here's what happened:

Select an account with subaccounts to reconcile, and make sure
the 'include subaccounts' checkbox is checked.

Work a while doing reconiliation.
Discover that some things are wrong.
Bring up a register window and fiddle around a lot fixing things.
Discover that the entries in the reconcile window were not being
updated as they used to be for non-included subaccounts.
Suspend the reconcilation, then restart it.

do the above about 4 times, then gnucash crashed....

Note! Bug buddy hung waiting for the update of the product list, so I
had
to hit cancel (we're talking over an hour of waiting, at the end of
which
I noticed absolutely no network activity to the internet). Therefore,
I'm
charging this to bug buddy, but it really belongs in gnucash,
as version almost the most recent, I believe 1.6.4 maybe? (I can
give the exact number after this bug-buddy is done, so if you all
need it please email me and I'll pass it along). Anyway - please -
if someone can push this over to gnucash bug list I'd really
appreciate it!
