Thanks for the patch, but -- I talked to andreasn a month ago (he's working with sanchi) and got the impression that this icon is still very much work in progress and not something we should be installing yet.
sure, the icon needs love I just wanted to get this moving

I've figured out how to use the create-highcontrast utility in gnome-themes-standard to do proper highcontrast renderings of this icon. This is what we should use.
