Description Pascal valois 2002-01-09 16:47:30 UTC
i suggest we could search a news by ID. that's a common way
to find a specific message, as ID are unique.

Actually the only way of searching messages are by subject or author
which can match more than one message.

could this be done ?
Comment 1 Charles Kerr 2002-01-09 17:03:23 UTC
The subject/author pulldown in 0.11.1 has three choices: subject,
author, and message-id. If I understand your question correctly, this
is what you're asking for.
Comment 2 Pascal valois 2002-01-09 17:40:44 UTC
yes, as you said, there is a message-id search way through the
pulldown menu.

but in the Edit/Search Menu, this way of searching is inexistant.

Could it be fixed ?

I've added this in CVS, so you should see this in the next release.
