The different notifications aren't aligned with each other. This looks bad, and makes it hard to read. The notifications should follow a grid layout:

As a temporary solution, we can left-align the notifications and increase some of the padding. There is a patch for this in bug 685919.

For 3.8, we need to rethink the use of resident notifications in the lock screen. We don't need this bug for that though.
