Thats about all there is to it.  New build.  Pan had crashed before
so I built the current cvs.

I've fixed the immediate crash in CVS but I'm not sure why Pan got
empty attributes from your xml file in the first place.  Could you
please mail your ~/.pan/data/rules.xml file to pan@rebelbase.com so
that Christophe can take a look at it?
