Description Shawn Landden 2012-01-05 03:40:06 UTC
Is there a reason/history behind the ctrl-alt-L combo for this? Is gnome trying to avoid the meta key?
Comment 1 Shawn Landden 2012-01-05 03:44:37 UTC
ubuntu ridiculously (IMHO) renamed auto eth0 from network manager to "Wired connection 1", (annoyingly starting counting with 1) this one seems far more common sense, but perhaps there is a policy against using the meta key in gnome.

media-keys: Change default 'Lock screen' keybinding to be Super+L

We're generally trying to move all desktop-wide keybindings to use
Super.

Indeed, we should just do this. It's already mentioned in the wiki
