Description Artur Brodowski 2001-11-23 08:10:43 UTC
when I added some headers to be sent with every post
(in my Profiles tab):

Mime-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-2
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit

Pan refuses to send such postings - I get an error message
and my message is saved in send_later folder. without them
headers everything works fine.
Comment 1 Charles Kerr 2001-11-25 15:51:22 UTC
I can't make this crash in 0.11.0.91 -- could you try upgrading to
that, or better still 0.11.0.92 when it comes out in a few days --
and see what Pan does for you?

However there is still the problem of needing a better way of
specifying charsets in Pan, so I'm marking this bug as accepted.
Comment 2 Artur Brodowski 2001-11-26 12:57:28 UTC
Pan does not crash, when error occurs -> all I get is a alert
window with error message and posting is saved in pan.sendlater
folder.

same thing happens after upgrade (Pan 0.11.0.91)
Comment 3 Charles Kerr 2002-04-13 22:41:12 UTC
Fixed in 0.11.90 (the gtk2 port) which lets you post messages in
user-specified charsets

I'm sweeping up for a 0.12.0 release; if you'd like your
name in the credits please add a comment with the name
you'd like listed.

cheers,
Charles
