GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 65161
Can't send posts with custom heades
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
when I added some headers to be sent with every post (in my Profiles tab): Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-2 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Pan refuses to send such postings - I get an error message and my message is saved in send_later folder. without them headers everything works fine.
I can't make this crash in 0.11.0.91 -- could you try upgrading to that, or better still 0.11.0.92 when it comes out in a few days -- and see what Pan does for you? However there is still the problem of needing a better way of specifying charsets in Pan, so I'm marking this bug as accepted.
Pan does not crash, when error occurs -> all I get is a alert window with error message and posting is saved in pan.sendlater folder. same thing happens after upgrade (Pan 0.11.0.91)
Fixed in 0.11.90 (the gtk2 port) which lets you post messages in user-specified charsets
