Description H Gohel 2001-11-19 07:14:33 UTC
To save an article I have to switch the group pane from "Subscribed" to
"Folders" view. Then I Select Articles > Copy article to folder, and when
I switch back to "Subscribed" view in the group pane, Pan has forgotten
which group I was in, i.e. in the group view, my current group is not shown
as selected. The consequence is when I'm done and type Ctrl-M to catchup,
and Control-G to proceed to the next group, Pan actually selects the first
group in the list of groups for that server.

I think it's reasonable for Pan to lose grouplist selection when
moving from groups to folders and back again; however, this bug report
is a side-effect of a different problem: the UI for saving articles to
a folder is very frustrating.

Either we should have a tree in the grouplist with "folders" and
"groups" as entries, or we should provide some other easy way to copy
articles to a folder.

Thank you. I hope I will be able to upgrade to 0.12.X soon so I can
enjoy the benefits of your development.
