Gnome Media Profile uses Gconf to store the profiles. It should use Gsettings.

I guess one have to use schemas with unspecified path to create a list of profiles as it was done in Gconf.

I gave a try at porting libgnome-media-profiles to GSettings but we need GSettingsList, which is not avalaible yet, to cleanly store the audio-profiles.

libgnome-media-profiles is not under active development anymore. Its codebase has been archived. Closing all its open tickets as part of housekeeping.
