Both Excel and OOo perform a multiple linear regression in TREND, GNuemric only permits a simple linear regression. For interoperability with Excel (and OOo) we should probably extend this to match Excel's usage.

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
