Description braiam 2010-08-24 18:30:57 UTC
Empathy start with warning about

GLib-GIO-ERROR **: Settings schema 'org.freedesktop.Telepathy.Logger' is not installed

Installing telepathy-logger resolves the issue. Empathy should depend on the package telepathy-logger.
Comment 1 Omer Akram 2010-08-24 18:59:41 UTC
empathy should not crash if logger is not installed. just like any connection manager IMO.
Comment 2 Guillaume Desmottes 2010-08-25 07:22:00 UTC
Empathy does depend on tp-logger (0.1.5).
Comment 3 Omer Akram 2010-08-25 07:24:29 UTC
hey, do you mean its a packaging bug on our side? i.e. tp-logger should be added as depends? (currently its recommends)
Comment 4 Guillaume Desmottes 2010-08-25 07:45:24 UTC
yes it should be a dep.
