Description Ville Pätsi 2001-10-21 07:57:40 UTC
Currently I have to keep 6 icons of partitions on the desktop because they
are user mountable. This is annoying, since I don't need them there. Also
when I mount a cd, the cd icon is created to a random position. I have a
symlink to the cd's mountpoint that stays in it's place, so this extra icon
is unnecessary. The mounted icons placing should be fixed too, but that's
another bug...

Changing to "old" target milestone for all bugs laying around with no milestone set.
Comment 2 John Fleck 2002-01-26 04:15:15 UTC
Adding GNOME2 keyword.
Comment 3 Mark Finlay 2002-11-21 19:54:07 UTC
A way to solve this would be to always have the cd icons on the desktop.
Comment 4 Aschwin van der Woude 2002-11-23 21:15:00 UTC
The issue about a mount icon not necesaarily appearing at the same
location is addressed with bug #99222
Comment 5 Tim Herold 2004-05-08 17:39:04 UTC
The other one has a patch so this one gets closed. Sorry.
