make sure autocorrection for weekdays is on
select A1
type "monday", enter
note that correctly "Monday" was entered
select B1:B2
type "monday", ctrl-enter
note that "monday was entered in both B1 and B2 without correction.

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
