Description jantomm 2010-07-26 07:09:13 UTC
I want to paste from clipboard, a window 'Text Import Configuration' pops up but I can't see the controls at the bottom because the window doesn't fit in the screen. The dialog window is not resizeable.
Comment 1 Andreas J. Guelzow 2010-07-26 13:07:23 UTC
The dialog window is in fact resizable. The problem is that the minimum size is too big. (This seems to be primarily because of the content of the format selector on the last page.)
Comment 2 jantomm 2010-07-26 14:07:25 UTC
Ok, but still it's not usable on a standard netbook screen (1024x600). Any workaround?
Comment 3 Morten Welinder 2010-07-26 14:38:34 UTC
Mine is nowhere near that wide.

Screenshot of all four pages, please.

For me,the dialog appears (including window decorations) as 734 by 687. The interesting page is the formatting page since that seems to fix the minimum size. I can easily increase the dialog size but the minimum size appears to be fixed by this page.
Comment 5 Morten Welinder 2010-07-27 17:53:45 UTC
We seem to have grown that page a lot since I last looked.

We could get rid of the "Column selection" frame.

We could replace "General" (etc) in the headers with a button that pops
up a format selector. Then kill the "Per column formatting" frame.

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
