Description Renze de Ruiter 2001-10-17 06:02:16 UTC
Swallowed apps on the panel don't "swallow" any more since upgrading
Sawfish from 0.38 to 1.0.1. I'm not sure if this problem was in 1.0 also,
as I never installed that version. I used to have xhippo swallowed into an
autohide panel in the corner of my screen, but since the upgrade of
Sawfish, it just won't swallow any more. The window remains on the screen,
without a border.

I have exactly the same problem with programs intended for th Gnome
status dock. For example, Gabber and xmms' status docklets are both
displayed at random on screen instead of being swallowed by the
appropriate status dock. The fact that it appears this bug is
witnessed with respect to a non-sawfish swallowing mechanism suggests
to me that sawfish is forcing the window to a position other then is
intended.
